The International Baccalaureate Conference of the Americas is a yearly conference where educators, leaders, university representatives and more come together to learn and share knowledge about the IB and its mission. The theme for 2014 was “Ways of Knowing,” and with the help of the organization, we fully branded the conference in the Americas region. There was a big focus on continuity, and making the event experience feel both cohesive and professional. This included a logo for the yearly service project derived from the conference logo, a trilingual program with content in English, French and Spanish, various directional and sponsor signs, and much more.
Results: Participants and internal staff commented on the improvement to the overall look and feel of the conference, as well as the ease of navigation and recognition of IB staff booths. The standards are now raised for all subsequent conferences.
